Welcome back people! The Champions League came roaring in after the one week international break, and boyy, was it electric. It was raining goals on Tuesday, and Wednesday had some more goals seeping out. Without further comment, let's get to it ⚽๐ฅ.

Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool
RESULT: 2-3
Atletico goals: Antoine Griezmann 20', 34'
Liverpool goals: Mohamed Salah 8', 78'(p), Naby Keita 13'
Atletico red cards: Antoine Griezmann 52'
What a game this was. Liverpool got payback for their knockout from Atletico during the 2019/20 season. Mo Salah, bang in form, scored a brace while Naby Keita blasted in a delightful finish. Antoine Griezmann got his own brace but he soon turned from hero to villain after being shown a straight red for a high boot challenge. Thus, leaving Atletico with 10-men.
Paris Saint-Germain vs RB Leipzig
RESULT: 3-2
PSG goals: Kylian Mbappe 9', Lionel Messi 67', 74'(p)
Leipzig goals: Andre Silva 28', Nordi Mukiele 57'
Another game full of goals and drama. PSG took the lead early on with a counter-attack finished off by Kylian Mbappe. Leipzig would draw level into the game thanks to Andre Silva. The German side took the lead in the second-half when Nordi Mukiele got onto the end of a cross to finish his effort home. However, Lionel Messi proved pivotal as he tapped in the equalizer and scored a crisp panenka penalty to win it for PSG. Mbappe also took a penalty in the dying minutes but his shot blazed over the bar.
Shakhtar Donetsk vs Real Madrid
RESULT: 0-5
Real Madrid goals: Serhiy Kryvtsov 37'(og), Vinicius Jnr 51', 56', Rodrygo 65', Karim Benzema 90+1'
Shakhtar Donetsk were at the end of a beating in this game. It all went down the drain for them when Serhiy Kryvstov misguided his clearance and scored past his own keeper. In the second-half, Vinicius Jnr notched a brace including a stunning solo goal. He would turn provider for Rodrygo who steered in his shot. Karim Benzema sealed the game for Los Blancos with a goal in early stoppage time.

Benfica vs Bayern Munich
RESULT: 0-4
Bayern goals: Leroy Sane 70', 84', Everton Soares 80'(og), Robert Lewandowski 82'
Bayern Munich ran through the field again in this game. However, they did fail to fully trouble Benfica in the first-half and the Portuguese team looked more dangerous in attack. Despite that, Leroy Sane's free-kick opened proceedings, and the goals came pouring in. Everton Soares headed into his own net for Bayern's second, Robert Lewandowski was gifted a tap-in after Sane bamboozled away from the defence and later scored his second goal.
Chelsea vs Malmo
RESULT: 4-0
Chelsea goals: Andreas Christensen 9', Jorginho 21'(p), 57'(p), Kai Havertz 48'
The Champions bounced back from the shock defeat against Juventus with a dominant display in this game. Andreas Christensen scored his first ever goal for Chelsea after a well struck top corner finish. Jorginho would then extend the lead via a penalty. Kai Havertz, subbed on for the injured Romelu Lukaku, chipped in the third goal of the game. Jorginho rounded off the scoring with a second penlaty, and 3 points for Chelsea.
Manchester United vs Atalanta
RESULT: 3-2
Man United goals: Marcus Rashford 53', Harry Maguire 75', Cristiano Ronaldo 81'
Atalanta goals: Mario Pasalic 15', Merih Demiral 28'
I can't tell whether I'm dreaming or it actually happened, but Man United came from behind to win this game ๐คฏ๐. Atalanta had the better start with Mario Pasalic scoring from close range. Merih Demiral would header in the second goal and put Man United in a tight spot. However, Man United pulled one back through Marcus Rashford, equalized via Harry Maguire's boot, and grabbed the winning goal thanks to none other than Mr Champions League himself, Cristiano Ronaldo. SIUU! ๐๐บ.
