Welcome ladies and gentlemen!!
There was some silence for the past two weeks but the Champions League came roaring back in for a third match day of fixtures. This match week was fire- cracking 🎇🎇. Special mention go to Raheem Sterling and Kylian Mbappe for scoring hat-tricks for their respective teams ⚽️🎩
This match week was really fire-cracking, I repeat 😂🙊. Spurs ended their torrid run of form with a emphatic victory against Red Star Belgrade ( Crvena Zvedza something 💀). Paulo Dybala saved the day for Juventus as they came from a goal down to defeat Lokomotiv Moskva 2-1. Benfica earned a hard-fought victory against Lyon, as the Portuguese team has been under-performing in this Champion League campaign. I also enjoyed watching Napoli versus Salzburg ( goal-fest 🤩). Credit given to Slavia Prague for giving Barcelona a challenge but unfortunately they came short due to a small deflection at the near-post off a Luis Suarez shot 😦. Inter Milan beat Dortmund in the same group and stand the chance of qualifying as they drew and lost their first two games. Chelsea defended excellently against Ajax and left Amsterdam with a shock win 🤫😎.
Also have to give praise to the worldiessss scored in this match week.😍🌍⚽️ One was in the Lille versus Valencia game and another was in the Leipzig v Zenit game.
