BREAKING NEWS: Ballon d'Or 2020 Not To Be Awarded

In with some news here 😁🗞

I do very much focus on matters concerning the UEFA Champions League on its own in this blog but I can always look at something such as the Ballon d' Or, which concerns football as a whole.

This year, the Ballon d'Or, the most prestigious award for a footballer, will not be awarded as France Football did not see it credible to do so due to the coronavirus pandemic affecting the football season. This means that the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will not receive the glorius award this year, and more painfully for Robert Lewandowski, who was the front-runner for the award this year after the astonishing performances he put in this season.

Such a bummer for all of us, and we will all have to wait for next year to see who will be crowned 'best player in the world'. Let me leave the link of the rankings that saw the potential players to win the award.
