UEFA Champions League: Group Stage Matchday 3 Results

UPDATE: 2020/21 season

Hello folks!

We just came from finishing the 2019/20 season and just a month from now, we will be into the 2020/21 season. It has already begun though, but it's to determine the teams for the final group stage spots. This will be my second season blogging on the competition, and I can't wait to start again๐Ÿ˜. Bit of a bummer though, I will be delayed at the start of this season (due to school work), and I'll likely miss two of the group stage matchdays. But, all's well that ends well, expect me back right after 10 November ⚡.

The Group Stage

Now then. About 26 out of 32 clubs have qualified for the group stage of the Champions League, including the top teams from England, Germany, Spain, Italy and France. The list of clubs is as follows:

SPAIN (4): Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid & Sevilla

ENGLAND (4): Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United & Chelsea

ITALY (4): Juventus, Inter Milan, Atalanta & Lazio

GERMANY (4): Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig & Borussia Monchengladbach

FRANCE (3): Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille & Rennes

RUSSIA (2): Zenit St Petersburg & Lokomotiv Moskva

PORTUGAL (1): Porto

BELGIUM (1): Club Brugge

UKRAINE (1): Shakhtar Donetsk

TURKEY (1): Istanbul Basaksehir

NETHERLANDS (1): Ajax

The list is subject of a final confirmation from UEFA

The Champions a.k.a The team to beat this coming season

German titans, Bayern Munich, lifted up the their 6th Champions league trophy last month, becoming the first team ever to win every single Champions league game they played. This season, the team searches for a seventh crown but they'll have knives out against them as other teams will want a piece of the silverware too.

So guys, that's about it. We are all set for this new season, coming in with new drama, new moments of brilliance and hopefully new champions ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ. Ofcourse, the coronavirus still exists, so stadiums will not be filled to full capacity even though I've heard of teams wanting to have fans in their stadiums as soon as possible. We shall see how it all pans out.

As for me, I'm off now.

Cheers guys ⚽๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ›ฃ
