Real Madrid vs Liverpool 

Real Madrid goals: Vinicius Junior 27', 65', Marco Asensio 36'

Liverpool goals: Mohamed Salah 51'

Los Blancos proved imperious in this encounter, and gave Liverpool a steep hill to climb when they face-off in the return leg. Brazilian, Vinicius Junior bagged a brace while Marco Asensio grabbed a goal too after latching on to a Trent-Alexander Arnold error. Mohamed Salah managed to score Liverpool's only goal of the game, to give the English team some hope in the tie.

Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund

Man. City goals: Kevin De Bruyne 19', Phil Foden 90'

B. Dortmund goals: Marco Reus 84'

Man. City stole victory against the German side at the death, with Phil Foden scoring the deciding goal of the game. Kevin De Bruyne opened the scoring for City and from then on they held to their lead until Marco Reus had equalized in the 84th minute. Dortmund will have all to do for the second leg.

Bayern Munich vs Paris Saint-Germain

Bayern goals: Eric Choupo-Moting 37', Thomas Muller 60'

PSG goals: Kylian Mbappe 3', 68', Marquinhos 28'

A repeat of the 2019/20 final with PSG getting their revenge and gaining advantage in the tie. Kylian Mbappe struck as early as the 3rd minute for the game's opening goal. Marquinhos would put in the French team's second. However, Eric Choupo-Moting, against his former club, grabbed a goal back for Bayern before Thomas Muller scored a similar header in the second-half. Mbappe would get the last laugh as he beat Manuel Neurer at his near post for the winning strike.

Porto vs Chelsea 

Chelsea goals: Mason Mount 32', Ben Chilwell 85'

Chelsea responded from their shocking loss in the Premier League to secure an important win in this game. Mason Mount displayed silky skill to give the London side the lead in the first-half. Porto did look threatening, creating as much chances as they could but in the second-half, Ben Chilwell sealed the deal and Chelsea have a glimpse of the semi-finals.
